I’ve been reading and commenting on a smattering of LDS blogs for a little while now. It all started innocently enough. About a year ago my wife pointed out that I was subscribed, though RSS, to several hundred blogs, not one of which was directly connected to my religion. Everything else was represented, news, interests, hobbies, politics but no religion.
I saw her point.
Terror, Terrorism and Terrorists
People have been doing horrible things to each other, to animals, to plants and to inanimate things for a long time; more than likely for as long as there have been people. Perhaps it was the thought that this might ever be the case that led the Flight of the Conchords to quip about an imagined robot-dominated future:
Could this really be the case? Will we only see an end to cruelty and horror when there is either no one to be cruel or nothing to be cruel to?
